Humanitarian HR

We specialize in humanitarian HR and have worked with organizations on a range of projects designed to strengthen HR & OD aspects of emergency preparedness and response, including global, regional and local HR surge capacity, managing in emergency and high-threat environments, onboarding and orientation in emergencies, online learning tools, pre-deployment guides for staff working in emergencies, strengthening organizational Safeguarding infrastructure, and staff wellbeing in emergencies.

HR & OD strategy and systems

We work with HR, senior leadership teams and other stakeholders to undertake strategic reviews and design HR & OD strategies and systems aligned with business goals in dynamic and fast-changing environments. Our work includes projects related to HR & OD strategy in specific areas such as global mobility, talent management, performance management and development systems, HR & OD aspects of the COVID-19 response, as well as developing and aligning long-term HR & OD strategies with evolving business plans for impact and results.

Organizational development, change, and transformation

We provide expert HR & OD support for organizational change and transformation. Our work includes developing a global people management toolkit in support of desired culture, capacity assessments of the HR and other functions, organizational design and re-structuring, and being retained as a HR & OD subject matter experts for the global transformation of the international operations of a large INGO.

HR projects

We work with organizations of all sizes and at the national, regional and global levels on discrete HR projects, including developing and reviewing Staff Handbooks and specific HR policies, reviews of compensation and benefits (including pay reviews), job evaluation and job grading, labor market analyses, and workforce planning and capacity assessments.
