NEW CLIENT: GREEN CLIMATE FUND
The Green Climate Fund is the world's largest dedicated climate fund, established by 194 governments with the vision of making a meaningful impact on the global climate crisis. It supports developing countries limit or reduce greenhouse gas emissions and helps vulnerable societies to adapt to the consequences of climate change.
Founded in 2010, the organisation’s first operating cycle saw the approval of 129 projects in 108 countries and the disbursement of more than USD 5.6 billion.
As the organisation continues to grow and mature and with a new Executive Director and Updated Strategic Plan, the Green Climate Fund has embarked on an ambitious transformation programme to help it deliver its vision and goals.
The Bongo HR Director, Clare Condillac, has worked collaboratively with key stakeholders at every level of the organisation and in alignment with other transformation initiatives to develop a new HR&OD roadmap for the next operating cycle and beyond.
The new ‘People Plan’ represents a pathway for strengthening people management and organization design and development practices to help the Green Climate Fund to become a faster, better, more resilient and smarter organization.
Incorporating both tactical and adaptive aspects, the new People Plan will help ensure the Green Climate Fund can attract, retain, nurture, grow and deploy the diverse and talented people it needs and be fit for purpose for the future.
